We are seeking an experienced Attorney General to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education law and regulations, as well as extensive experience in providing legal counsel and representation to educational institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance to educational institutions on a wide range of matters, including compliance with local and federal laws, contract negotiation, employment issues, and student rights.
- Represent educational institutions in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Draft and review contracts, policies, and other legal documents related to educational operations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to education laws and regulations in Dubai and the UAE, and advise institutions on how to remain compliant.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals, such as outside counsel and government officials, to advocate for educational institutions and protect their interests.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues affecting the education sector.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's degree preferred.
- Licensed to practice law in Dubai and the UAE.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on education law.
- Strong understanding of education regulations and policies in Dubai and the UAE.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
