Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Casino Surveillance Operator Assistant to join our dynamic team in Dubai's vibrant telecommunications sector. As a crucial part of our operations, you will assist in maintaining the security and integrity of our casino environment by supporting the surveillance department in monitoring activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and safeguarding the welfare of guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Surveillance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring live video feeds from various surveillance cameras throughout the casino to detect any unusual or suspicious activities.

- Incident Reporting: Document and report any incidents or anomalies observed during monitoring sessions, including but not limited to cheating, theft, and other security breaches.

- Data Management: Help manage and archive surveillance footage in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Ensure that footage is easily retrievable for investigations as needed.

- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to the Surveillance Operator in troubleshooting and maintaining surveillance equipment and software.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the surveillance team, casino security personnel, and local law enforcement when necessary, to ensure a coordinated response to incidents.

- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about local laws and regulations related to casino operations and ensure that all surveillance practices meet these standards.

- Training Support: Assist in training new surveillance staff on monitoring systems, protocols, and procedures.

- Shift Coverage: Be flexible to cover various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the casino's operational needs.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a surveillance or security-related role, preferably within a casino or hospitality environment.
- Familiarity with surveillance technology and equipment, including CCTV systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused during long monitoring sessions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to report findings clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
- Proficiency in computer applications and software related to surveillance operations.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations pertaining to casino operations is desirable.

Working Conditions:

- The position is primarily based in a casino environment with a high level of activity.
- May involve extended periods of sitting and monitoring screens.
- Must be able to handle potentially stressful situations and work as part of a team.
