Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Procurement Technician to join our dynamic team in the real estate sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers. This role is essential in ensuring that our procurement activities are efficient and cost-effective, contributing to the overall success of our real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procurement Process Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
- Manage the procurement cycle, from identifying needs to supplier selection, contract negotiation, and order placement.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, maintaining high ethical standards.

- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting market research to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure adherence to contract terms.

- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier correspondence.
- Prepare and organize reports on procurement activities, spending, and supplier performance metrics for management review.

- Cost Management:
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting procurement needs to optimize costs and resources.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.

- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide timely support.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment on project timelines and procurement requirements.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Experience:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within the real estate industry.

- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of construction materials and services is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
