Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Human Resources to join our leadership team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping our HR strategy, fostering a high-performance culture, and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business objectives of the organization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on HR-related matters, providing insights on organizational design, talent management, and succession planning.
2. Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent in alignment with the company’s growth strategy.
- Develop comprehensive onboarding programs that enhance employee integration and engagement.
3. Performance Management:
- Design and implement a robust performance management system that promotes accountability, continuous feedback, and professional development.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure employee performance and organizational effectiveness.
4. Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes diversity and collaboration.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, utilizing surveys and feedback mechanisms to inform strategies.
5. Compensation and Benefits:
- Review and refine compensation structures to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
- Oversee the design and administration of employee benefits programs that support employee well-being and retention.
6. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
- Manage employee relations issues effectively, providing guidance to management and staff on HR policies and procedures.
7. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Promote leadership development initiatives to prepare future leaders within the organization.
8. HR Technology and Analytics:
- Leverage HR technology and data analytics to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.
- Implement and maintain HR information systems that enhance operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that drive business results.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices in the UAE.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in managing complex employee relations issues and implementing effective conflict resolution strategies.
- Proficiency in HR technology and data analytics, with experience in using HRIS systems.
