We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Event Manager to join our team in Dubai, specializing in Transportation and Logistics events. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute transportation and logistics events in Dubai, including conferences, trade shows, and networking events
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are accounted for and kept within budget
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all event logistics are coordinated effectively
- Oversee event marketing and promotion to ensure maximum attendance and engagement
- Coordinate with sponsors and partners to ensure their needs are met and their participation is successful
- Manage event staff and volunteers, assigning tasks and ensuring all roles are covered
- Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, preferably within the transportation and logistics industry
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in event management software and tools
- Knowledge of Dubai's transportation and logistics industry is a plus
