Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR Advisor to join our dynamic team in the education sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management, with a specific focus on the unique challenges and opportunities within the educational landscape. The Senior HR Advisor will be responsible for providing strategic HR support, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Management:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to assess HR needs and develop solutions that drive organizational effectiveness.
2. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Work closely with departmental heads to identify staffing needs and ensure a diverse pipeline of candidates.
3. Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances, providing guidance and resolution strategies.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives and programs to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
4. Performance Management:
- Lead the performance appraisal process, providing tools and training to managers for effective performance discussions.
- Provide coaching and support to employees and managers to foster a culture of continuous feedback and development.
5. Policy Development and Compliance:
- Review, develop, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Keep abreast of changes in labor legislation and make necessary adjustments to organizational policies.
6. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for staff, promoting a culture of lifelong learning.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust programs as necessary.
7. HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to assess workforce trends and inform decision-making.
- Prepare and present regular HR reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
8. Cultural Development:
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
- Promote a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and respect.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the education sector or a related environment.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record in managing employee relations, performance management, and recruitment processes.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
