Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in the education sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. This position requires a strategic thinker who is adept at managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions that align with organizational goals.
- Utilize various recruitment channels to attract and retain top talent in the education sector.

2. Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters, fostering a positive and engaged workplace environment.
- Address employee grievances and conflicts, providing guidance and mediation when necessary.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.

3. Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide training and support to managers on effective performance management techniques and best practices.
- Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance employee productivity and morale.

4. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop training programs that support employee development and career progression.
- Coordinate and facilitate workshops, seminars, and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.

5. Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Review and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and changes in legislation.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and maintain accurate employee records.

6. HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
- Prepare and present reports on HR activities, trends, and workforce analytics to senior management.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance HR operations.

7. Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and initiatives.
- Participate in HR projects and contribute to the development of HR strategies that align with the overall mission of the institution.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years and up to 8 years of experience in human resources, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
