Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Knowledge Manager to join our team in the telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and managing knowledge management strategies, enhancing organizational learning, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing. This position requires a strong understanding of telecommunications operations, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for leveraging knowledge to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge Management Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive knowledge management strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for improvement, ensuring the effective capture, sharing, and utilization of knowledge across the organization.

2. Content Management:
- Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of knowledge repositories, ensuring that information is easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to curate and develop knowledge content, including best practices, case studies, and lessons learned.

3. Community Engagement:
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by establishing communities of practice and facilitating knowledge exchange among employees.
- Organize and lead workshops, training sessions, and seminars to promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

4. Technology and Tools:
- Evaluate, implement, and manage knowledge management tools and technologies to enhance knowledge capture and dissemination.
- Ensure that the technology infrastructure supports the organization’s knowledge management initiatives effectively.

5. Performance Measurement:
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives and their impact on organizational performance.
- Conduct regular assessments and feedback sessions to refine knowledge management processes and practices.

6. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders to promote knowledge management initiatives and advocate for best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on knowledge management, providing guidance and support to teams across the organization.

7. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure that knowledge management practices comply with relevant regulations, standards, and organizational policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with knowledge management, including data security and intellectual property concerns.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Telecommunications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in knowledge management, information management, or related roles within the telecommunications sector.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications operations, technologies, and industry trends.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing knowledge management strategies and initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in knowledge management software and tools, with a strong aptitude for technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
