Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Vice President of Sales to lead our sales initiatives within the agriculture sector. This pivotal role will be based in Dubai and will require a visionary leader who can drive revenue growth, establish strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence in the region. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the agriculture industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives, with a focus on driving revenue growth and market penetration in the agriculture sector.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Provide ongoing training, support, and performance evaluations to ensure team members achieve their full potential.

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the agriculture sector. Utilize insights to drive strategic decision-making and inform sales tactics.

- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners. Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Develop and manage accurate sales forecasts and reporting systems. Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales performance, opportunities, and challenges.

- Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget and ensure the efficient allocation of resources. Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and to facilitate the introduction of new products and services.

- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Promote best practices in sales processes, customer engagement, and relationship management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role within the agriculture sector, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and develop high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing sales strategies that yield measurable results.
- Strong understanding of agricultural products, market dynamics, and customer requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools; experience with data-driven decision-making is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
