Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Manager with a strong background in the Aerospace and Defense sector to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our service operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction, and managing a team of service professionals. This role requires a deep understanding of aerospace systems, excellent leadership capabilities, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Operations Management: Oversee daily service operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery to meet customer needs.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of service technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations to enhance service offerings and ensure satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Address any issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the service department budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high service quality.
- Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the service team, assisting in complex troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for service operations, regularly reviewing performance data to identify areas for improvement and implementing action plans accordingly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration in meeting customer requirements.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate ongoing training programs for staff to enhance skill sets and keep up with technological advancements in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all service operations comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in service management within the Aerospace and Defense sector.
- Proven experience in managing service operations and teams, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- In-depth knowledge of aerospace systems, maintenance practices, and industry regulations.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and service management software.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
