Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk Assistant to join our manufacturing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in the shipping and logistics operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring accurate and timely dispatch of products. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shipping Coordination:
- Assist in preparing shipping documents and labels for outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange transportation of goods.
- Track shipments and update relevant parties on delivery status.

2. Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure that all items are properly labeled and packaged for shipment.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

3. Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain shipping records, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and shipping protocols.
- Assist in the completion of necessary documentation for international shipments.

4. Quality Control:
- Conduct inspections of products before shipment to ensure quality standards are met.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the relevant departments.

5. Communication:
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers regarding shipping schedules and issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to shipping and logistics.

6. General Administrative Support:
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the shipping department as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the shipping area.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in using shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 kg.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
