Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Operations Program Manager to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications sector based in Sharjah. This role is crucial in driving sourcing and procurement strategies that align with our organizational goals, ensuring efficient operations, and fostering supplier relationships that enhance our service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimize supplier selection and procurement processes for telecommunications products and services. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved service delivery.
- Program Management: Lead sourcing operations projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Utilize project management methodologies to track progress, manage risks, and report on key performance indicators.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, finance, and operations teams, to understand their sourcing needs and align procurement strategies accordingly. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure transparency and collaboration.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements in sourcing operations. Implement best practices and innovative solutions that streamline procurement processes, reduce cycle times, and improve overall efficiency.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure sourcing operations adhere to company policies and relevant regulations. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor sourcing performance and supplier metrics. Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of sourcing professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Proven track record of managing sourcing programs and supplier relationships effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
