This period marks an exciting time to join Egis's new Project, Programme, PMO and Commercial Management Capability (“P3M CM”) UK, Ireland and Europe team, which is undergoing a transformative phase.

Reporting to the Nuclear Project Lead, you’ll be at the heart of our Project Management delivery capability, supporting clients across the full project delivery lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and supply chain partners to deliver excellent project management services, compliance and performance. Your skills will help shape smarter, safer, and more resilient infrastructure.
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring our clients projects and programmes run smoothly and to the highest standards.

Role Responsibilities:
Project Preparation
Support preparation of initial strategy, scope development, cost estimates, schedules and feasibility assessmentsEmbed safety is all activities and outputsLead in compiling business cases, governance, tender documents and reviewing submissionsContribute to risk identification and mitigation strategiesConfidently participate in stakeholder engagement during all phasesKeep multidisciplinary teams aligned to schedule milestones and report progress to governance forumsMapping requirements and cross-functional dependencies to maintain an integrated project viewDelivery, Monitoring & Oversight
Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, aligning outputs to scheduleSupport cross-functional readinessMonitor project progress, cash flow, and expenditure and provide regular updates to senior leadership and through governance forumsSupport delivery through facilitating and managing change control and variation(s)Support excellent organisational management and final account preparationEnsure appropriate record keeping and contract complianceEnsure project activities are executed in accordance with governance, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsParticipate in dispute avoidance forums and support resolution activityContract & Commercial Delivery
Administer NEC3/4 contracts from the client sideSupport budget control, forecasting, and defined cost planningCollaborate with commercial teams on monthly valuations and payment certificatesAssist in drafting contractual communications (EWNs, CE notifications, etc.)Operational Support & Process Improvement

What do we need from you
Bachelor’s or master’s Degree qualification in a related subjectExperience of success in the delivery of projects, acting as Project Manager.Understanding of the application of NEC 4 forms of contractExperience of stakeholder management.Knowledge and application of CDMKnowledge of Safety and Environmental legislation, practices and policies.What you will bring
Strong eye for detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent client-facing and stakeholder engagement abilitiesConfident communication skills across functions.Proactive, collaborative, and delivery-focused mindsetGood commercial acumenKnowledge and/or experience of public procurement activity is desirableExperience operating within client organisations over 5 yearsSector experience in nuclear, water, environment, defence, rail, highways or other major/complex regulated infrastructure sectorsAbility to integrate inputs across people, process, technology, and regulatory interfacesKnowledge of CDM regulations and risk managementFamiliarity with the full construction lifecycleA strong appetite for continuous learning and self developmentFully conversant with all commonly utilised office IT packages as well as industry specific systems (e.g. contract management)Experience of common PM methodologies and systems (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Prince2)Chartered or desire to pursue chartered membership (e.g., APM)Working knowledge of NEC3/4Valid CSCS cardRight to work in the UKThis role is subject to client interview and acceptance
