A well-established and growing marketing agency is seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Manager/Head of Social to lead and scale it’s social media offering. This role is ideal for someone who really understands how social works, from organic and paid activity through to influencer and creator partnerships, and knows how to use it to drive real growth for brands. You will shape strategy, oversee delivery and performance across a varied client portfolio, and act as the senior social lead for key accounts. This includes leading strategic conversations, turning results into clear insight, and ensuring the work is consistently high quality. Lead and evolve the agency’s social media strategy across organic, paid, and influencer marketing Position social as a strategic growth channel aligned to client objectives and wider marketing strategies Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, owning strategy, performance, and innovation discussions Oversee campaign performance across platforms, ensuring strong ROI and continual optimisation Lead, manage, and develop the social media team, setting clear expectations and standards Mentor team members and support skills development, progression, and performance Ensure effective workload planning, resourcing, and prioritisation across the team Support new business pitches and identify opportunities to grow existing client accounts Proven experience leading a social media or digital team within an agency environment Deep, hands-on knowledge of platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Strong understanding of paid social, influencer marketing, and social analytics Strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to link social performance to business outcomes A creative eye paired with a data-led, performance-focused approach
Salary: GBP 36000 - 60000 per year
