Bookkeeper
Job description
Equifind is currently working with a London-based Investment Management firm focused on renewable energy assets, is looking to hire a Bookkeeper to support the finance function across its operating portfolio.
Based in Glasgow and working a hybrid pattern of 2-days per week in the office, this role sits within a firm of around 500-people and offers exposure to the operational finance of renewable infrastructure assets.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for the Bookkeeper for the Investment Management firm based in Glasgow will be:
Day-to-day bookkeeping across renewable asset entities.Preparation and submission of VAT returns.Processing of transactional finance (accounts payable and receivable).Cash management, including monitoring and reconciling cash positions across entities.Supporting the month-end close process, including journals and reconciliations.
Application Criteria:
Around 10-years' bookkeeping experience, ideally within investment management, energy or infrastructureFluent Swedish speaker.Comfortable managing cash management and month-end responsibilities across multiple entities.High attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
Compensation:
The Bookkeeper working for this Investment Management company based in Glasgow will be paid a competitive market-based salary.
