Location: Wheeling, IL
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Occasional overtime & travel required)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our sales and client services team. In this role, you will manage client relationships, support sales efforts, and help ensure our customers receive excellent service. This position is ideal for someone who is ambitious, highly organized, and eager to grow into a sales role. You will work closely with our daily sales operations team as well as directly with our CEO and COO. You will receive comprehensive training on the full operations of the company so you can step in to support any function when needed.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts
• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and service quality
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Support daily sales operations and collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives
• Assist in onboarding and supporting new clients as needed
• Monitor account performance, usage, and engagement to identify growth opportunities
• Provide detailed feedback from customers to help improve services and processes
• Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for internal and external use
• Step in to support operational functions during peak volume or special projects
• Represent the company professionally during on-site visits, meetings, and occasional travel

Requirements
• Experience as an Account Manager, or similar client-facing role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)
• Skilled in building relationships, managing expectations, and problem-solving
• Ability to learn and understand technical aspects of computer hardware and repair services
• Proficiency with Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) or similar software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, professional, and committed to exceptional customer service

Additional Helpful Experience
• CRM software (e.g., PipeDrive)
• Basic understanding of hardware terminology and troubleshooting concepts
• Data analysis and reporting
• Proposal creation and contract review
• Quoting/procurement platforms or sales operations systems
• Experience supporting education (a plus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
