ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Customer Service & Logistics Co-ordinator to join us on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract in our Newton-Le-Willows office (Hybrid). The role will be responsible for efficiently processing customer orders and related activities to ensure on-time in-full delivery of products. You will also be managing all related activities including producing accurate and timely export paperwork, stock allocation, returns, credit/debit creation as well as resolution of customer complaints & queries. You will collaborate with Commercial Teams to enrich and align on a consensus demand plan by gathering data and creating an unconstrained assumptions-based demand forecast per SKU.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage order capture to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Manage stock allocation for orders by warehouse to ensure availability is maximised for customers
• Coordination of the relevant export documentation for shipments.
• Arrangement of the shipping of orders Internationally via freight forwarder / 3PLs / co-manufacturer / supplier to deliver within cost, balancing service versus cost to serve.
• Keeping Customers informed of any changes, escalating, owning and resolving issues
• Manage customer queries and complaints to ensure issues are being resolved in a timely manner
• Generates reports and KPIs to ensure performance is managed, and own resolution of any issues.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support delivery of NPI or other business projects
• Generates and owns the supply plan for finished goods and raw materials, aligned to business policies and known constraints
• Provide regular reports and insights through use of analytical techniques to drive data-driven decision-making including KPIs, ensuring performance is managed, and owns resolution of any issues.
• Analyse forecast accuracy, identify variances, root cause and adjust projected forecast in collaboration with commercial teams to improve accuracy and influence the business on key decisions

• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, suppliers, customers, and stakeholders
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinating issue management with other departments
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, cleansing, structuring, analysis, and report generation and a strong understanding of formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualisation techniques
• Ability to generate actionable insights from large datasets to identify trends, issues and recommend improvement action including root cause analysis
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order management
• Commercial awareness with a good general supply chain and business understanding
• Drive, resilience and passion to actively contribute to the team; sharing knowledge and experience to support others
• A hands-on attitude with a natural curiosity to learn and an adaptable mindset
• A focus on sharing good practices, continuous improvement and finding a better way
