The PBC Group is a fast-growing company, from just 2 meetings in our first FY, we are now organising 8 meetings annually, with revenue’s growing 721% during this period. The Role

We are seeking a Delegate Sales Assistant to join our growing team in creating impactful conferences within the life sciences sector. In this role, the successful candidate will assist in driving and managing delegate attendance for our meetings. The role is available as a full-time (40 hours per week) role or on a part-time basis (16 hours per week - across 2, 3 or 4 days).

The ideal candidate will assist our Head of Audience Engagement to ensure successful delegate acquisition and management. This position offers excellent exposure to the clinical research industry, opportunities for professional growth and occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities
• Research, identify, and contact potential delegates via phone, email and LinkedIn
• Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly outreach targets
• Understand delegate needs and effectively communicate the benefits of attending industry specific events.
• Input and maintain accurate records of communication and sales activity in the CRM system (Salesforce)
• Research and develop knowledge of the clinical research space to ensure effective engagment with potential delegates and other industry professionals
• Collaborate with production and delivery teams to align messaging and target the right audience.
• Contribute to team discussions and share ideas for improving sales strategies.
• Support with other relevant tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth and successful delegate acquisition and management
• Attending conferences to aid in delivery

Essential Requirements

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

· Confident phone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly.

· Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects

· Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment

· UK-based (commutable to London once per month)

Desirable Experience

· Previous experience in delegate, event, or B2B sales (minimum 1-2 years)

· CRM system experience (Salesforce)

· Interest in life sciences, pharmaceutical, and clinical research industries
