My client is looking for a progressive Finance and Accounting graduate or ambitious finance candidate with 6+ months transactional finance experience, to continue developing and offer them a clear progression pathway.

My client is looking for a progressive Finance and Accounting graduate or ambitious finance candidate with 6+ months transactional finance experience, to continue developing and offer them a clear progression pathway. For this Finance Assistant role, they will be providing all the training provided to make sure your transition from university to real world finance is smooth.

Description

Download bank transactions daily for the bank accounts allocated.

Process accurately a high volume of transactions daily for the bank accounts allocated.

Ensure receipts and payments are coded and posted to the correct ledgers, nominal ledger codes, cost centres and departments where applicable.

Post all sales receipts to the correct client within the practice management systems where appropriate.

Undertake weekly and monthly bank reconciliations to timetable.

Undertake reconciliations of banking records to PMS to timetable.

Conduct payment runs

Working closely with Management Accounts team

To support the business towards the achievement of the Group's strategy, goals and objectives.

To undertake continual professional development (CPD) as necessary.

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

Graduated in Finance related degree or have gained 6+ months in a similar transactional finance role

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ambitious to progress, develop and continue learning

A willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.Job Offer

Salary up to £24,500

3 days on site /2 days at home, hybrid working split after training

Study support in AAT, CIMA

Free car parking on site

37.5 hour working week
