Job Summary:

Cable Dahmer Automotive Group is continuing to grow and we’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to join our team! This position plays an essential role in supporting the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department by assisting with document processing, customer communications, and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Finance Managers in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing all finance and lease paperwork accurately and efficiently.

Ensure all required documents are complete and compliant with dealership and lender requirements.

Communicate with customers to collect necessary information and signatures for financing or leasing.

Submit and track funding packets, ensuring timely processing and follow-up with lenders as needed.

Maintain accurate records of all deals and contracts in both digital and physical files.

Support the sales and accounting departments with deal reconciliation and issue resolution.

Review and verify title, registration, and payoff information for accuracy.

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with questions regarding financing, contracts, or warranties.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and customer information.

Assist with general administrative duties as needed to support department operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.

Previous experience in automotive finance, accounting, or administrative support preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems; experience with dealership management software a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
