The Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT)

is seeking to appoint a part-time

Transactional Finance Assistant

22 hours per week

4 days per week - hours to be discussed

Salary: £28,598 - £30,518 FTE - £17,975 - £19,182 pro rata

Location: The post is based at DEMAT’s offices in Ely. Hybrid working available dependent upon working pattern. It is expected that a minimum of 2 days will be worked in the office each week.

The Diocese of Ely Multi Academy trust is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to undertake a varied range of transactional processing. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a strong foundation in all aspects of finance administration. Candidates must be self-motivated, customer focused, organised and have great attention to detail.

The successful applicant will:

Be experienced working in a similar finance role including accounts payable and receivable

Have experience of using computerised accounting software

Have credit control experience

Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team

Be resilient and be able to prioritise and set clear priorities in managing their workload.

Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels.
