Description

We are looking for an experienced logistics professional to lead and manage operations at our Dubai logistics Centre. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in 3PL logistics handling, inventory management, and warehouse operations, combined with a hands-on understanding of logistics systems and process optimization.You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across inbound, storage, and outbound processes, while driving efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in the overall supply chain workflow.Key Responsibilities Logistics & Operations ManagementOversee daily warehouse and logistics Centre operations, ensuring smooth inbound, storage, and outbound flow.Manage and coordinate with 3PL partners to ensure SLA adherence and timely deliveries.Optimize transport, delivery routing, and distribution networks for cost and time efficiency.Monitor KPIs including order accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and turnaround times. Inventory & Warehouse ManagementLead all aspects of inventory control—receipts, storage, replenishment, dispatch, and stock reconciliations.Maintain accurate stock records and ensure system updates are real-time and error-free.Implement best practices for warehouse layout, picking efficiency, and space utilization.Conduct periodic cycle counts and full physical audits to ensure zero discrepancies. Process Improvement & ComplianceIdentify and implement process optimization initiatives for logistics and inventory workflows.Ensure compliance with Dubai Customs, trade regulations, and health & safety standards.Drive automation and digital transformation in warehouse processes using technology platforms. Stakeholder & Team LeadershipCollaborate with procurement, finance, and commercial teams to align logistics with business objectives.Supervise and mentor warehouse and logistics staff, ensuring high performance and accountability.Manage vendor and service provider relationships to ensure performance and cost efficiency. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory & Warehouse Management or related field.MBA in Logistics / Supply Chain preferred.6–10 years of experience in logistics operations, including 3PL handling and inventory management within the UAE.Previous roles may include Logistics Manager, Inventory Manager, Head of Inventory, or Senior Inventory Executive.Proven experience managing end-to-end logistics operations within Dubai.Technical SkillsProficiency in SAP, Delivery Optimization Systems, OBEE, Microsoft Visio, or similar logistics software.Strong command of Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools for performance tracking and reporting.Understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), barcode/RFID technologies, and data-driven decision-making.Professional Certifications (Preferred)CLSCM, CSCP (APICS), CILT, or equivalent logistics/supply chain accreditation.Continuous improvement training (Lean, Six Sigma) is an added advantage.Core CompetenciesDeep understanding of Dubai logistics and customs processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Process-oriented, detail-focused, and proactive in managing operational challenges.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic logistics environment.
