Description

This role is a hands-on opportunity to lead ER casework, guide managers, and strengthen day-to-day people practices. You'll partner closely with leadership while supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training needs. This role is hybrid, based in Crawley 3 days.

Description

Act as the first point of contact for all employee relations queries

Lead on complex and sensitive ER casework from start to resolution

Coach and guide managers on policy, process, and best practice

Support recruitment activity, including vetting and onboarding

Contribute to designing and delivering training sessions

Maintain accurate documentation and case records

Work closely with the People Manager to identify people-related risks

Support continuous improvement across HR processes

Assist with policy updates and compliance requirements

Provide day-to-day generalist HR advice to employees and managersProfile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

Strong experience managing complex ER cases end-to-end

Confident advising managers and influencing decision-making

Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practice

Able to remain calm and objective in sensitive situations

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing a varied workload

Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding

Comfortable delivering or contributing to training

Tech-savvy, with good HR systems and documentation skills

Proactive, solutions-driven, and keen to help shape a growing HR function
