Role: HR Performance Management Specialist (SC Cleared)
Location: London, UK (2days a week)
Contract Position
The client is seeking a specialist contractor to lead its People Transformation Programme by redesigning its performance management framework. The project involves assessing current practices, designing a new framework that links performance, reward, and skills, and creating a detailed implementation roadmap. The contractor will also handle stakeholder engagement, change management, and ensure knowledge transfer to the Bank's internal teams.
Key responsibilities
· Current State Assessment: Review existing performance management and pay systems, analyze stakeholder feedback, and benchmark against market best practices.
· Framework Design: Develop and recommend a new performance management framework that aligns pay with performance, skills, and contribution, while ensuring fairness and transparency.
· Implementation Roadmap: Create a detailed plan for implementing the new framework, including timelines, governance models, and necessary systems and training.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Support the Bank in managing cultural change, engaging senior leaders and managers, and providing guidance on leadership capabilities.
· Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate the transfer of knowledge to internal Bank teams to build their long-term capability.
Required experience and skills
· Expertise in designing and implementing performance management and pay frameworks in large organizations.
· Experience integrating performance management with other people transformation initiatives like pay, skills, and talent.
· Strong data analysis, benchmarking, and evidence-based recommendation skills.
· Proven ability in organizational and cultural change management.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
· Ability to translate theory into practical, actionable solutions.
· Experience in knowledge transfer and capability building within client organizations.
