Maintenance Plumber

Branta Recruitment are working with a respected Facilities Management company seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber to join their expanding engineering team. This role is ideal for an experienced plumber with commercial maintenance experience who wants long-term progression, stability, and the chance to step into a more senior position over time.

As a key member of the FM team, you’ll carry out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across multiple commercial sites, support clients directly, and contribute to high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out PPMs, reactive repairs, and general plumbing maintenance across commercial buildings
• Diagnose faults and complete remedial works efficiently and safely
• Support engineers on site and work collaboratively with the wider FM team
• Liaise directly with clients, providing professional advice and excellent service
• Assist with small installations, refurbishments, and minor mechanical tasks
• Ensure compliance with H&S, company policies, and site procedures
• Manage subcontractors when required and help maintain accurate site records

What We’re Looking For
• Experienced commercial or FM-based maintenance plumber
• Strong understanding of hot/cold water systems, pipework, drainage, and basic mechanical plant
• Confident communicating with clients and providing clear technical advice
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently across multiple sites
• Willingness to travel between Newcastle, Yorkshire, and the Central Belt
• Full UK driving licence
