Description
A global financial infrastructure provider is seeking a detail-driven Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their HR Shared Services team. This is a high-impact role supporting payroll and benefits operations across multiple international regions, including the UK, US, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, and Switzerland (c. 750 employees).
You’ll be the go-to expert for payroll compliance, benefits administration, and process improvement, working closely with Finance, HR, and third-party vendors to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and control.
What you’ll be doing:
• Lead end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries
• Administer UK benefits (pensions, PMI, dental) and support global benefits coordination
• Own payroll controls, audits, and reconciliations
• Manage year-end tax processes (UK P60s, P11Ds; US W-2s, 1099s)
• Handle complex payroll queries and vendor relationships
• Identify process improvements and support system testing
• Contribute to policy updates and risk control assessments
What you’ll bring:
• Strong UK payroll experience (CIPP qualification preferred)
• Exposure to US payroll is a plus
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Experience with payroll/HR systems (e.g. UKG, Oracle, Greenhouse)
• Confident communicator and relationship builder
