Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Restaurant Supervisor oversees daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent service, high-quality food, and a positive guest experience. They support the management team by supervising staff, maintaining standards, and ensuring efficient workflows in both front- and back-of-house areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, cash handling, and shift scheduling.
• Monitor food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Coordinate between kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
2. Staff Supervision
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service.
• Support onboarding and training of new employees.
• Delegate tasks and monitor staff performance during shifts.
• Address performance issues and escalate to management as needed.
3. Customer Service
• Greet and engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Resolve customer complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure a welcoming atmosphere and uphold brand values in guest interactions.
4. Financial and Administrative Duties
• Assist with inventory control, stock ordering, and waste management.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, labor, and costs when required.
• Support management with daily reporting and operational updates.
5. Health, Safety, and Compliance
• Ensure all staff adhere to health and safety policies.
• Conduct routine checks on food storage, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management immediately.
