Description

Orchestrate the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit, ensuring a seamless experience for all school staff.Develop and implement HR policies and procedures specific to the educational environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws and school board regulations.Manage and resolve employee relations issues, fostering a positive and productive work environment that aligns with the school's mission.Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for teachers and staff, attracting and retaining top talent for the school.Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and adherence to budgetary constraints.Lead performance management processes, including evaluations, goal setting, and professional development opportunities to support staff growth.Manage employee data and records, maintaining accurate and confidential information in compliance with privacy regulations.Provide guidance and support to school administrators and employees on HR-related matters, offering expert advice and solutions.Handle employee investigations and disciplinary actions, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with school policies and legal requirements.Stay current on HR trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience. Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.Holds a professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar) to demonstrate HR expertise.Has 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with specific experience in the education sector preferred.Demonstrates a solid understanding of employment law and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR practices.Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.Showcases excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong data analysis and reporting skills.Demonstrates a strong work ethic and the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Exhibits a passion for education and a commitment to supporting the mission and values of the school.Ability to speak and write in English fluently is mandatory, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
