About this opportunity

Cumberland Council is looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join our Children and Families Service. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multi-agency team, using your professional expertise to improve lives and promote the voice of the child in all aspects of care planning.

We’re looking for someone with a Social Work degree (or equivalent), Social Work England registration, and experience working with children and families. In return, we offer flexible working, ongoing professional development, and the chance to be part of a supportive team making a real impact across the community.

This role is available on a temporary basis.

Cumberland Council is proud to hold an Ofsted rating of 'Good’ for our Children’s Services, demonstrating our dedication and strong commitment to providing high-quality services for children and families.
