As the Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing critical areas essential for smooth operations. Your Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers, vendors, and team members to meet customer commitments.
• Understand and apply GXO's quality policies; establish procedures to maintain quality objectives.
• Guide supervisors regarding personnel, quality, and safety matters.
• Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff effectively.
• Recommend programs to enhance operations.
• Manage equipment needs and coordinate maintenance with the maintenance team.
• Ensure records are maintained properly and reports completed on time.
• Follow and enforce safety practices, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.

What You Need to Succeed:

At a minimum, you should have:
• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may involve weekends.

It would be advantageous if you also have:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field.
• 4 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Process Improvement.
• Background in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL).
• The ability to uphold a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across departments.
• Strong problem-solving and statistical analysis skills.

This job requires the ability to:
• Lift objects of varying shapes, sizes, and weights.
• Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods.
• Reach (including overhead), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
