Do you thrive in calm, caring environments where your support truly matters? At Lifeways, we're looking for a compassionate full-time Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Gamesley, Glossop.
You'll be working 1-to-1 with a gentleman with learning disabilities who enjoys swimming, visiting the park, browsing charity shops, and going for drives in his car. While previous care experience and confidence working independently are helpful, they're not essential. If you're kind, patient, and ready to make a difference, we'd love to welcome you
Shift Pattern
• Early shifts: 8am-3pm
• Late shifts: 3pm-10pm
• Nights: sleep-in shifts
• Full flexibility to work the above 3 shifts on a rota basis Monday to Sunday is essential.
What You'll Be Doing
• Supporting individuals with daily living skills and personal goals
• Encouraging independence and community involvement
• Providing emotional and practical support tailored to each person
• Working as part of a close-knit, caring team
What We're Looking For
• A genuine desire to help others
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and a positive attitude
• No formal qualifications required-just the right mindset
