Job Description

We are seeking highly accurate and efficient Virtual Freelance Data Typists to join our project-based team. This is a remote, contract position where you will be responsible for accurately transcribing, inputting, and managing various types of data into our systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent typing speed, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet strict deadlines. Key Responsibilities
• Accurately input data from source documents into designated computer systems and databases.
• Verify data for errors and inconsistencies, correcting where necessary.
• Maintain data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
• Organize and manage electronic files and documents.
• Perform regular data backups to ensure data recovery.
• Adhere to company data entry guidelines and security policies.
• Communicate effectively with project managers regarding progress and any issues encountered.

Required Skills
• Proven experience as a Data Typist or similar data entry role.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 WPM).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with various data entry software or CRM systems.
• Previous experience working in a freelance or remote capacity.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, Australian Privacy Principles).
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in data entry or administration is a plus.
