Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Care Worker to join our team in Al Ain, within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children while supporting their emotional, social, and developmental needs. This position requires a blend of childcare expertise and an understanding of the dynamics within a corporate setting, as you will often interact with employees and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Child Supervision: Monitor and supervise children in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engagement: Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual growth, including arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor play.
- Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to children, helping them develop social skills and cope with any challenges.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of each child's development, daily activities, and any incidents or accidents that occur.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive environment for all children.
- Safety Standards: Ensure all safety guidelines and health regulations are strictly followed, including hygiene practices and emergency procedures.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in child care and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children in a professional setting.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus.
